Occasionally I paint something different, something that is topical at that particular moment or something that never changes.
Here are a couple of examples, paintings that are completely different in their contrast.
Stonehenge - an oil paintings which I did some years ago from a winter's photgraph. This pre-historic monument still captivates people imagination even today.
The other painting featured is from the Black Stuff. Many people will remember the drinks company that ran an advertising campaign featuring horses thundering out of the sea with the surfers. One of those moments when I picked up the brush and just painted. Maybe it was the horses that capivated my attention!
Lots of my other work has been by request and covers much of my native Teeside roots. Landmarks, places of interest and sentiment are all paintings and etchings I have completed for people.
